Squash Sports Club, Bank Melli Iran:
Established in 1957, it is located in the Central Building of Bank Melli Iran adjacent to the bank hospital and ancient sports club, The Squash Hall. Which was founded by Mr. Ebtehaj, the general manager of Bank Melli Iran, and kept its sports backround.
Some renovations have been made in the hall but have had no adverse effects.
After squash was played in Bank Melli, since it had private guests from different embassies such as England, Russia, Germany and the likes, their ambassadors and charge d'affaires of the countries are accustomed to playing with the Bank Melli Iran employees and their family members.
About 100 people are using this hall per week and champions have been trained in these facilities that compete internationally.
Inside this club there is an ancient sport ground with more than 50 years of age which shows the importance of this Iranian sport and our local champions. It is an ancient building with a plethora of history behind it which hosts our foreign guests. Everyday a group of those who are interested in this sport are using the facilities.
